A Message from Chris

Dear Customers,

Together, we are facing an unprecedented situation. The coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, our community, and our way of life. It’s hard to keep up and that can make it challenging to feel safe and secure. I wanted to take a moment to reach out and keep you informed on how we are approaching the situation at Helms Heating & Air.

First and foremost, our prayers are with those who have been impacted by the virus, directly or indirectly. Our hearts go out to those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We are inspired and appreciative of workers in the healthcare industry who work selflessly and tirelessly to care for those in need.

It is my responsibility to remain focused on the health and well-being of my employees, their families, and our family of customers. We all must make sacrifices at this time to take care of each other and for the health of our most vulnerable community members. Although, there is no handbook to guide me through this, I intend to do so while continuing to deliver the highest levels of service.

We will continue to operate under normal business hours with the following provisions:

  • Our office is not open to the public, vendors, salesmen, etc.

  • We are limiting our employees’ in-person services and handling each situation on a case-by-case.

  • Our technicians and installers will not be accepting cash or check payments. Customers will need to pay at the time of service via credit card on our website or by allowing the technician to enter the information manually.

  • If someone in your home or office has been ill or has been positively diagnosed with COVID-19, please let us know so that we may react accordingly.

  • If any of our customers are in need of service and have an illness or situation that would not permit a home visit, please contact us so that we may attempt to resolve your issue over the telephone, website chat, etc. Although remote technical support has its constraints, we intend to continue to do all that we can to keep your family as comfortable as possible.

Thankfully, I have an unbelievably supportive wife and team of employees behind me. These times remind us to be our best selves with patience, understanding, and compassion. We are all motivated and committed to persevering together in the days ahead.

As our situation changes, I will be sure to keep you updated. We appreciate your support and wish all our families the very best of health.

Sincerely,

Chris Helms

President
